While I'm still a fan of Syfy's version of Being Human, I do have to admit that it's started a little slow out of the gates because I'm only feeling two-thirds of the on-going storylines. "(I Loathe You) For Sentimental Reasons" was the perfect example of what I've been struggling with this season.
When I first heard that Sally was going to try to be reincarnated, I wasn't sure if that was something I was going to be interested in, and I still think that it's a silly idea. The thing is, it's starting to look like it was just the catalyst for her possession addiction arc which has far more potential, although a possible love triangle between her, Zoe and the other ghost isn't as appealing. We'll have to see where this ends up.
Much like Sally's plot, I was happy that Josh's world continued to expand with the introduction of the brother and sister werewolves. Right now, they do seem like some pretty thin characters, but I'm willing to give them time to establish themselves because I think they could really muck up Josh's world which could be interesting.
Aidan's story was weakest link yet again, but I think that comes back to the fact that the whole Boston family and the politics that are involved are a little boring at this stage in the game. That being said, I'm glad that we got some more information on his relationship with Suren, and I'm excited to see how that will progress.
So, "I Loathe You" had its fair share of ups and downs, but it was ultimately fun to watch, and it did set some intriguing plot elements into motion.
