Out of all of the news from Comic-Con that has been clogging up my Twitter and Google Reader feeds, the one bit of info that probably got the biggest reaction out of me was the teaser trailer for Starz's Spartacus: Vengeance. After going through news items about and promo pictures of Liam McIntrye as the new Sparty, seeing actual footage is exciting...
It's odd not seeing Andy Whitfield as Spartacus, but I've been bracing myself this entire time, but I'll admit that so far Liam works for me (especially after what he said during the SDCC panel about filling the role after Andy's departure). It's not going to be easy for Liam, the producers, and the fans to adjust, but so far I'm feeling confident, and the show has my support. Can't wait for 2012.
