After months of waiting, Conan O'Brien made his return to late night via his self-titled TBS show, and I have to say it was good having him back.
Conan looked and felt a lot like The Tonight Show and Late Night, but that's not a bad thing. While the first episode didn't break the talk show host mold, it was a showcase for Conan to do what he does best and that's act a fool in his own unique and charming ways. In the end, that's all I can really ask for.
Some Odds and Ends:

Some Odds and Ends:
- Andy Richter was on fire, and he may have been the best part of the entire show ("The inside smells like tears").
- Two words: Cold Open
- The Ricky Gervais bit, while predictable, was still pretty funny.
- Good Guests: Seth Rogen and Lea Michele may not the biggest names, but they do appeal to Team Coco since they have a younger vibe.
- One minor gripe: Conan was pacing a bit too much for my liking, but it was first night back so he had to work out the gitters. Pass for now.
All in all, tonight was a good first step for Conan and his new show, and I hope he finds success on TBS. Let's just hope George Lopez doesn't get any ideas.
